I have been working as a translator since 1999. After graduating from Electrical Engineering Institute in 1992, I have tried many occupations due to my curiosity. Although the positions were different all of them were connected with translating and interpreting more or less. It helped me to get knowledge in different areas. Following this I have decided that translating is the right thing I am to dedicate my life to.

My competences are technical translation, business translation: management, marketing, HRM, localization of web sites and presentations. I am also interested in translating of articles about everything, as I am very active and sociable person.

I am an accredited translator and received my degree at the Department of Applied Linguistics and Cultural Studies, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz which is renowned for translation and interpreting. I translate from my native language German into English and from English, French and Dutch into German. My area of expertise is engineering. Thanks to my thorough education I had the chance to translate many general as well as technical texts at university and discuss them with highly qualified teachers and colleagues. This has proved an excellent background when I started free-lancing.
